From approximately 30 meters of installed CS soaker hose, a pressure reducer should be used instead of simple flow reduction. Up to 50 meters, a combination of a pressure reducer and flow reduction can be beneficial.
Which pump is suitable for a soaker hose?
Suitable pumps are those that provide a steady and relatively low pressure. It is important that the pump either works with an expansion tank, supplies additional water during irrigation, or that a second circuit is installed to return part of the water.
