The regulating valve with flow reduction serves as a substitute for a pressure reducer on shorter irrigation lengths.
Using the reduction disc, only a reduced amount of water flows into the CS soaker hose while it simultaneously begins to release water.
The valve also allows for additional regulation of the water flow if too much water is directed into the CS soaker hose.
Note: The valve does not close completely. Even when the tap is closed, a small amount of water continues to flow through. This feature enables a very even and gentle irrigation over a prolonged period, particularly when installed underground.
This effectively reduces the water pressure in the soaker hose, ensuring consistent water release.
This accessory is ideal for maintaining optimal performance of your CS soaker hose on lengths from 7.5 to 30 meters. For lengths exceeding 30 meters, we recommend using a pressure reducer set to 0.6 bar.
Simply connect to your 1/2 inch garden hose click connector and start watering.
