The normal household water connection typically has a water pressure of 3-4 bar, which is often excessive for irrigation systems.
For optimal irrigation results, we recommend using a CS Pressure Regulator.
The CS Soaker Hose operates at a maximum pressure of 1.5 bar, ideally 0.7 bar.
The CS Pressure Regulator protects the CS Soaker Hose from overpressure.
Using the CS Pressure Regulator extends the lifespan of your CS Soaker Hose.
Water distribution becomes more uniform across your CS Soaker Hose system.
Operational disruptions are minimized, assuming water is filtered.
For irrigation lines under 50 meters, we recommend adding a flow reducer to limit the incoming water flow.
For irrigation lines 50 meters or longer, avoid using a flow reducer as it may restrict the water flow too much.
