The CS Premium Soaker Hose provides gentle and even irrigation for your plants. When installed underground, water is delivered directly to the root zone, where it is distributed evenly through the natural capillary action of the soil. Compared to above ground watering, underground irrigation offers numerous advantages, including water savings of up to 70%, uniform water distribution and easy installation. During irrigation, the surface remains fully usable and the plants stay dry, making them less susceptible to diseases and pests.
To use the CS Premium Soaker Hose, install it above ground or preferably underground within the irrigation area and connect it to a supply hose using a 1/2 inch quick connector or directly to a water tap. The hose can be buried to deliver water directly to the plant roots. With the various CS Premium Soaker Hose connectors, you can design the layout to suit your individual requirements. It is recommended to install a water filter with at least a 125 micron filter element to protect the soaker hose from dirt particles. The maximum operating pressure must not exceed 1.5 bar. Therefore, we recommend using the CS Pressure Reducer with 10 PSI / 0.69 bar.
The CS Premium Soaker Hose is ideal for automated irrigation of small irrigation systems, lawns, private gardens, vegetable beds, raised beds, greenhouses, hedges, flowers, shrubs, trees and plants of all kinds. Please note that contaminated water, excessive water pressure and incorrect water flow settings are the most common causes of operational problems. Clean irrigation water is essential. If the water contains a high level of contamination, we recommend using a water filter with a 60 micron filter element or even a 20 micron filter element.
The CS Premium Soaker Hose is frost resistant and can remain installed during winter. However, pressure reducers, water filters, irrigation controllers and similar accessories must be removed and stored in a frost free location.
