The regulating valve with flow reduction serves as a substitute for a pressure reducer on shorter irrigation lengths.
With the help of the reduction disc, only a limited amount of water flows into the CS soaker hose while it simultaneously starts to release water.
The valve allows for additional regulation of the water amount if too much water is being directed into the CS soaker hose.
Note: The valve does not close 100%. Even when the valve is turned off, a small amount of water still flows through. This enables a very gentle and even irrigation over a longer period, especially when the hose is installed underground.
This reduces the water pressure within the soaker hose and ensures a consistent water release.
This accessory is ideal for maintaining optimal performance of your CS soaker hose on lengths between 7.5 and 30 meters. For lengths over 30 meters, we recommend using a pressure reducer set to 0.6 bar.
Simply connect to your 1/2 inch garden hose click connector and start watering.
