The regulating valve with flow reduction serves as a pressure reducer replacement for shorter irrigation lengths.
Thanks to the reducing disc, only a reduced amount of water flows into the CS soaker hose, while it simultaneously begins distributing water. The valve allows you to further adjust the water flow if too much water is entering the CS soaker hose. Note: The valve does not close completely. Even when the tap is turned off, a small amount of water may still pass through. This feature enables a highly uniform and gentle irrigation over an extended period when the hose is buried underground.
This accessory reduces water pressure within the soaker hose, ensuring a consistent water output. It is the optimal solution for CS soaker hose lengths between 7.5 to 30 meters for uninterrupted operation. For lengths beyond 30 meters, a 0.6 bar pressure reducer is recommended.
