The 10 inch iron filter cartridge has been specially developed to reduce iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide in water. It is suitable for use in all standard 10 inch filter housings and provides a long lasting improvement in water quality. Metallic taste, unpleasant odours and discoloration caused by elevated iron levels can be significantly reduced.
The filter cartridge is filled with a high performance blend of pyrolusite and graded quartz sand granules. Dissolved ferrous iron is converted into ferric iron and safely retained within the filter media. At the same time, hydrogen sulfide is reduced, helping to eliminate unpleasant odours.
