The CS Soaker Hose Premium enables gentle and uniform irrigation of your plants. When installed underground, the water reaches the roots directly, as it is evenly distributed through the soil via capillary action. Compared to surface watering, underground irrigation offers numerous advantages, including water savings of up to 70%, very consistent water delivery, and easy installation. The surface remains usable during irrigation, and the plants stay dry—making them less prone to diseases and pests.
To use the CS Soaker Hose Premium, it is installed above ground or preferably underground in the area to be irrigated, and connected via a 1/2 inch quick connector to a supply hose or directly to a water tap. The hose can be buried to irrigate directly at the root zone. With various CS Soaker Hose Premium connectors, you can freely design the layout according to your needs. We recommend using a water filter of at least 125 microns in advance to protect the hose from dirt particles. The maximum operating pressure must not exceed 1.5 bar, which is why we recommend a CS pressure reducer with 10 PSI / 0.69 bar.
The CS Soaker Hose Premium is suitable for automated irrigation of small systems, lawns, private gardens, vegetable beds, raised beds, greenhouses, hedges, flowers, shrubs, trees, and plants of all kinds. Please note that dirty water, excessive pressure, and incorrectly adjusted flow rates are the most common causes of malfunctions. Clean irrigation water is therefore essential. For heavily contaminated water, a water filter with a 60-micron insert or even 20 microns is recommended.
The CS Soaker Hose Premium is frost-resistant and can remain in place during winter. However, pressure reducers, water filters, irrigation computers, etc. must be removed and stored in a frost-free environment.
