Shut-off Valve with Rubber Seal
This shut-off valve with rubber seal is ideal for installing CS Soaker hose Premium, Profi, and CS Soaker hose pressureless. It offers a variety of applications, especially for irrigating plants of all kinds.
For Drilling into:
- Rain barrel
- PE pipe
- Storage tank
- Water tank (without pump)
Applications without Water Pressure (Pressureless):
Application Example Rain Barrel/Water Tank/Storage Container:
The CS Soaker hose pressureless is laid above or preferably underground. Using a suitable drill (16mm), a hole is drilled into the container. The rubber seal is then inserted into the drilled hole, followed by the shut-off valve. The rubber seal closes the drill hole. The CS Soaker hose pressureless is then mounted on the other end. Maximum laying length: up to 25 meters per strand, laid straight. For larger areas, multiple tanks or connections are recommended.
Recommendation:
The storage tank should be placed about 30-50 cm higher than the CS Soaker hose pressureless.
Application Example PE Pipe:
The PE pipe is laid along the area to be irrigated. Using a suitable drill (16mm), the water withdrawal points are made. The rubber seal is inserted into the drilled hole, followed by the shut-off valve. The CS Soaker hose pressureless is mounted on the other end. Maximum laying length: up to 25 meters per strand, laid straight. The PE pipe diameter should be at least DN32. The more CS Soaker hoses are connected, the larger the PE pipe diameter should be.
Applications with Pressure (Premium and Profi):
Application Example Operation with Water Pressure:
The PE pipe is laid along the area to be irrigated. Using a suitable drill (16mm), the water withdrawal points are made. The rubber seals and shut-off valve seal the drill hole. The CS Soaker hose in the desired length is then mounted on the other end. The maximum CS Soaker hose length is up to 75 meters (Premium) and 100 meters (Profi) per strand, laid straight. The recommended diameter of the PE pipe should be at least DN32. The water pressure is reduced to approximately 0.5 - 1.5 bar using a pressure reducer.
