The arrow on the water filter indicates the correct direction of water flow and must be observed during installation.
In addition, there is a small hole at the water outlet of the filter. This is part of the pressure regulation system and serves to relieve pressure within the integrated pressure regulator. This helps reduce pressure spikes and protects the irrigation system from potential damage.
If water is discharged from this opening, it is usually an indication of excessive inlet pressure or an excessively high water flow rate. To minimize this, the water supply should be reduced or adjusted accordingly.
